Report to Senior Trade Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide sales & order administration support to traders (local and overseas)
• Responsible for preparing shipping documents as well as apply and negotiate Letter of Credit (LC) in accordance with sales/purchase contractual terms
• Prepare and analyse monthly reports
• Monitor receiveables
• Ensuring proper documentations and export requirements are adhered to; reducing delay in loadings and vessel departures
• Liaise with traders, surveyors and agents to ensure smooth and timely shipments
• Area of responsibility include Asia-Pacific, China, Middle East and shipments worldwide

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years's experience handling import/export LC
• Experience with handling bulk cargo shipment preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interface at all levels
• Willingness and interest to learn and have a high level of motivation
• Must be meticulous and possess good organisational skills
• Must be prepared to work overtime hours whenever required
• Must be able to work collaboratively and not directive with everyone to get the work completed
